Help Out Day: Himalayan Balsam Removal Wetheral Woods

Help remove an invasive species from Wetheral Woods.

  • Booking essential
  • Free event

You'll be working with our rangers pulling up the invasive species Himalayan balsam, to create space for native plants to thrive.

This will be a day at Wetheral Woods where we will be pulling up Himalayan Balsam, snapping the stems and leaving them in piles. We will be working in boggy areas so you will need wellies.

We will have some pairs of work gloves available, please bring your own if you have some.
