Help the gardeners working in the grounds at Allan Bank.

Come along and help our gardeners working in the grounds at Allan Bank. We'll be removing invasive vegetation such as bracken, wild raspberry and unwanted beech and holly saplings, to allow bluebells to thrive, and to create space to plant native woodland wildflowers. No experience necessary. Just bring your energy, enthusiasm and a pair of tough gardening gloves. Sturdy footwear required and dress for the weather.

- What to bring and wear
Clothing suitable for getting muddy and warm enough for working outdoors. Wet weather gear for if it's raining. Sturdy outdoor footwear. Tough gardening gloves.
- Accessibility
Accessible toilet on ground floor of the house will be available to use. The terrain is rough and uneven. There is Blue Badge only parking on site.

There is no general parking on site, please use public car parks in Grasmere or arrive by bus, then walk up the drive to the house.
