Experience an enchanting family Christmas and the joys of festive music at Speke Hall. From a magical retelling of the Twelve Days of Christmas inside the Tudor house, to a family walk in the grounds listening to festive melodies, there is a whole host of family-friendly things to do throughout the season.
Open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays between November 29 and December 22, 12.30pm to 4.00pm (last entry at 3.30pm).
Join us for an enchanting Christmas at Speke Hall this winter, as you step inside the decorated house and enter a magical retelling of the Twelve Days of Christmas. Marvel at fresh garlands and twinkling trees and the joy that music brings as you spot our Partridge in a Yew Tree and wonder at our Lords a ‘Leaping.
Booking is not required, and admission is included in the price of a property ticket.
Please note: During our Christmas weekends, the first floor of the Hall will be closed due to conservation work that will help protect and maintain the property for everyone, for ever.

At Speke Hall this year we will be sharing the magic of much-loved Christmas melodies as the grounds burst into song with decorations and delight round every corner. Find a moment of peace, or a ‘Silent Night,’ in our Secret Garden or visit a red-nosed reindeer friend in the Kitchen Garden. This winter wonderland will be the perfect backdrop for a family day out and making those magical Christmas memories.
Escape to Home Farm restaurant to take a seat and enjoy delicious festive treats every day of the week, 10.30am-3.30pm. Tuck into warming scones, sip festive-flavoured hot drinks or fill up your belly with a tasty meal. Every bite supports the work we do to care for Speke Hall for everyone, for ever.
Our second-hand bookshop, Speke's Volumes, is a treasure trove of pre-loved stories and located just opposite Home Farm restaurant. You're bound to find a book or two you'll love or that could make the perfect gift for someone special this Christmas. The bookshop is run by volunteers and is usually open every day for a few hours in the early afternoon.
The previous shop at Speke Hall selling National Trust products has closed, but you can still enjoy shopping at other properties in the region including Dunham Massey and Quarry Bank.
