During February half-term, we are celebrating and exploring the changing seasons at Ham House and Garden with gardening-themed activities for kids.
Plant a bulb dates: Saturday 15, Monday 17, Wednesday 19, Friday 21, Sunday 23 February
Drop in any time between 10.30am – 12pm or 2pm – 3.30pm
Join us in the Garden Room, one of our 17th-century outbuildings, for a bulb potting drop-in session run by a team member. Discover how to sustainably plant your seasonal bulb in a cardboard toilet roll tube – bring your own along if you can! Then find out how to look after it, ready for the plant to bloom at home.
Normal admission charges apply. Additional ‘Plant a bulb’ tickets are £2 and available to purchase at Visitor Reception.

The basics
- Meeting point
Tickets (£2) are available to purchase at Visitor Reception. The bulb planting session takes place in the Garden Room, near our shop.
- What to bring and wear
