National Trust London's Blossom Weekend

Join us for a weekend of creative activities at 80 Mortimer Street on 9 - 11 May to celebrate the Festival of Blossom with the National Trust London team and our community partners. Throughout the weekend, each community groups, takes the spotlight for creative exploration around the theme of Blossom.

Our Blossom Weekend returns for 2025, seeing our National Trust London programme team working in partnership with National Park City and a diverse range of community partners such as Athene Club, Company Drinks and Misery.

Over the course of the weekend you could enjoy blossom walks, ink making, print making and filming screenings of National Trust films made around youth groups at Morden Hall Park and Anthony Samuel’s greening of Morden Station, made in collaboration with TFL.

Grey to Green Walks with Misery

Friday 9 May 2.00 - 4.30pm

Join us for an immersive guided walk through Regent’s Park, celebrating the beauty and significance of blossom trees in urban spaces. Led by experts from misery, these walks will explore blossoms' ecological and cultural importance, their role in urban biodiversity and their impact on our well-being. Enhancing the experience, we’ll integrate an interactive AI/AR element through Glitch, a platform created by Nowadays on Earth, blending digital innovation with real-world exploration.

Printmaking with Neera Seghal

Saturday 11 May 10.00am - 12.30pm

Join artist and printmaker, Neera Seghal to experience the centuries old heritage craft of printing with hand carved Indian wood blocks.

Learn the history of this printmaking technique and be guided through how to create your own Festival of Blossom inspired tote bag with a selection of floral woodblocks and inks. Each participant will be able to experience how printmaking with Indian woodblocks is both a mindful & socially relaxed creative activity. You will work with waterbased acrylic inks and leave with your own tote bag. This workshop is suitable for all ages to participate.

Ink making workshop with Company Drinks

Saturday 11 May 2.00 - 4.30pm

Join nature educator and earth materials artist, Wren Wood from Company Drinks, for an informative and joyful ink-making workshop. Learn what ink is, which plants can be used and make a plant-based ink together using seasonal and traditional ingredients. You'll gain an understanding of the ink-making process and will have a small bottle of ink to take home at the end of the workshop. You will test out inks using natural writing tools and will learn how to take care of your inks. This workshop is suitable for all ages to participate. Booking essential.

Nature's Confetti returns to Outernet London for Blossom season 2025 

Enjoy the power and beauty of 'nature's confetti' as you experience the illusion of petals raining down on you from above at Outernet London, an immersive entertainment space housing giant floor to ceiling wraparound screens, the most advanced of their kind in the world. The National Trust Blossom experience returns for 2025 at Outernet London, Charing Cross Road (WC2H 8LH) from 1 - 30 April 2025.
