National Trust London's Blossom Weekend

Join us for a weekend of creative activities at 80 Mortimer Street on 9 - 12 May to celebrate the Festival of Blossom with the National Trust London team and our community partners. Throughout the weekend, each community groups, takes the spotlight for creative exploration around the theme of Blossom.

Our Blossom Weekend returns for 2025, seeing our National Trust London programme team working in partnership with National Park City and a diverse range of community partners such as Athene Club, Company Drinks, FLORXL and Misery.

Over the course of the weekend you could enjoy blossom walks, zine-making, herbal tonic crafting and filming screenings of National Trust films made around youth groups at Morden Hall Park and Anthony Samuel’s greening of Morden Station, made in collaboration with TFL.

Grey to Green Walks with Misery

Friday 9 May 2.00 - 4.30pm

Join us for an AR-enhanced nature walk using the Glitch platform, looking to celebrate blossom trees by connecting you to urban green spaces with our community partner Misery in Regents Park. The walk will start at 80 Mortimer Street before returning there after the walk to enjoy tea and a time to reflect. Expect insights on about blossom including folklore, blossom wildcrafting and seasonal reflections. Booking essential.

Company Drinks workshop and spring zine making with FLORXL

Saturday 11 March 2.00 - 4.30pm

Join FLORXL for a zine-making workshop exploring the theme ‘gardens as sanctuary’—how plants and gardens can support us, our communities, and society. We will explore notions of care and our relationships with plants and the environment, creatively imagining brighter, greener futures. Using botanical magazines and a range of prompts, we will start by making mini paper garden zines, followed by a collaborative A5 mini zine to be shared after the workshop.

Nature's Confetti returns to Outernet London for Blossom season 2025 

Enjoy the power and beauty of 'nature's confetti' as you experience the illusion of petals raining down on you from above at Outernet London, an immersive entertainment space housing giant floor to ceiling wraparound screens, the most advanced of their kind in the world. The National Trust Blossom experience returns for 2025 at Outernet London, Charing Cross Road (WC2H 8LH) from 1 - 30 April 2025.
