Get to grips with game play, improve coordination and have heaps of fun along the way in these 30-minute small-group pickleball workshops in the Bower Garden at Sheringham Park.
What is pickleball? Fast becoming one of the most popular racket sports in the world, pickleball brings together some of the best elements of tennis, badminton and table tennis, into a fun and exciting game for people of all ages and abilities.
Schedule and age brackets:
10:00-10:30 | 5-8 year olds
10:40-11:10 | 9-12 year olds
11:20-11:50 | 13-18 year olds
12:00-12:30 | 5-8 year olds
13:00-13:30 | 9-12 year olds
13:40-14:10 | 5-8 year olds
14:20-14:50 | 9-12 year olds
Sessions are led by an accredited coach from Cromer Lawn Tennis & Squash Club. Equipment is provided, but participants can bring their own if preferred.
Tickets are £5 per child. Siblings in different age brackets can be booked on to the same session.

The basics

- Meeting point
Follow signs to the Bower Garden, a few minutes walk from the events field, down the main drive.
- What to bring and wear
Please wear loose comfortable clothing and trainers or closed toe shoes.
- Accessibility
Paths toward the Bower Garden are bonded gravel. The paddock where the workshops take place is grassy. There is an accessible toilet in the toilet block to the side of the Courtyard Café.

You can arrive anytime before or after the workshop to enjoy a full day at Sheringham Park.
