February half-term at Ormesby Hall
Visit Ormesby Hall with all the family this February half-term for some book inspired activities.
- Booking not needed
- Free event (admission applies)
Families can follow the storybook characters trail throughout the house and garden, identifying each character by matching them with their missing item! Along the way on the trail, children will be able to plant a bean to take home and watch it grow. They will also be able to enjoy some crafts and dressing up as their favourite storybook characters. On Saturday 22 to Monday 24 February, Elizabeth Baker will be with us for some interactive storytelling. Then on Tuesday 25 and Wednesday 26 February, local author Lisette Auton will be hosting drop-in creative writing workshops. The half-term week will be finished off by a children's book illustrator running some "learn to draw" drop-in workshops on Thursday 27 and Friday 28 February.
Normal admission applies, with free entry for National Trust members and under fives.
