Gift in will buys new access scooter for Seaton Delaval Hall

Since their introduction in 2023, Seaton Delaval Hall's two all-terrain mobility scooters (Trampers) have enabled visitors to explore more of the hall's grounds, and thanks to a generous gift left to the National Trust by Miss Daphne Cooter Hersey in her will, we were able to add a third to the fleet in the spring of 2024.
Name that Tramper!
To help us manage bookings for the all terrain mobility scooters, also known as trampers, we decided to name our fleet of three and ran an open competition on our social media channels to name them.
There were some fantastic suggestions, but the winning three were:
