Stacey is an illustrator and nature enthusiast from the North East of England, drawing inspiration from the beauty of wildlife and the great outdoors. As a mother of two, she deeply appreciates the wonder and curiosity that children bring to the world.

Her debut children’s book, The Wonderful Woodlouse, is a heart-warming adventure brimming with friendship, bravery, and the magic of nature. Join a courageous little woodlouse and her charming snail companion as they make a new garden friend who they must rescue from the clutches of a sneaky garden villain. Wrapped in vibrant illustrations, this delightful story will captivate readers young and old.

Washington Old Hall will be open between 10am and 2pm on Saturday 23 November to host this special event.
