Beginning with a festive walk through the historical house before meeting in the Octagon room for a 45 minute relaxing pilates session. Then followed by some delicious home baked treats to finish off this festive evening

Pilates by Candlelight at The Argory *Sold Out*

It's not Christmas without a visit to The Argory. Start your festive season at The Argory’s Twilight Christmas Market! 

This enchanting evening is the perfect place to shop local and support talented stallholders from the community. Wander through a charming array of market stalls, each brimming with beautifully handcrafted gifts, artisan foods, and festive treats. From handmade jewellery and candles to bespoke crafts, you’ll find unique treasures made with passion and care by local creators.

Make the most of the festive atmosphere by visiting the beautiful Victorian mansion, which will be fully dressed for Christmas. Trees, trinkets, and garlands will decorate the rooms and the dining table will be dressed for a Christmas feast.

Be sure to visit our hot food vendors for a tasty treat or hot chocolate to keep you warm.

The Twilight Market will run from 4pm-8pm on Friday 6 December. Pre-book your entry to skip the queues and make the most of this magical experience.

Normal admission charges apply for non-members. Your prebooking covers the property admission charge. Members, please bring your membership cards.

Twilight Christmas Market at The Argory

Christmas at The Argory is all about the excitement of reviving festive traditions and sharing precious moments with loved ones. Unwrap a classic Christmas with festive experiences as you step back in time to a Yuletide of yesteryear.

The Christmas Fair will return to The Argory, bigger, better and more festive than ever before, with live music, food and craft stalls and plenty of opportunities to tick off that Christmas gift list with unique locally made finds.

Featuring a variety of local craft, food and drink stalls, as well as festive traditional entertainment. Soak up the wonderful atmosphere and see the house decorated for Christmas. Families will also have the chance to meet Santa and his elves in the grotto.

See life through the eyes of a child at Christmas in the Victorian era. Learn about the games and traditions of the festive period.

The Christmas Fair will take place on 7 and 8 December.

The Argory's Christmas Fair

Come along for a delightful hands-on willow weaving session in our beautiful grounds. Learn the traditional craft of willow weaving and create a small piece of your own to take home. Our Senior Volunteering and Communities Officer, Peter, will guide you through simple techniques suitable for all ages and abilities. 

Drop in anytime between 12pm and 2pm to try your hand at this sustainable craft. Perfect for both adults and children (recommended for ages 5+). It's a wonderful way to connect with nature and learn a historic skill.

All materials provided. No booked required.
