Behind Closed Doors: Chastleton Conservation Tour
27 May and 28 October: spend the afternoon with our conservation team discovering Chastleton’s unique approach to conservation and what goes on behind the scenes to preserve this Cotswold gem.

Discover how we care for and preserve our special collection and interiors and get to see our conservation work in action. Learn how we care for our furniture, textiles, books and the challenges we face looking after them. Explore the store rooms with a member of our conservation team and discover some of the unique collection of objects not usually seen on display.
This conservation tour takes place on 27 May and 28 October, 2-4pm. £25 per person.

Front door of Chastleton House.
- What to bring and wear
Warm clothing as it can be a bit chilly in the house depending on the weather outside! Sensible shoes - no high heels.
- Accessibility
Entrance to the house is up 6 steep steps. The house has 12 flights of stairs going up 4 floors. The building is not accessible by wheelchair.

Join us from 1.45pm for a cuppa and piece of cake before the tour begins at 2.15pm.
