Bluebells Walk at Cliveden
At this time of year, areas of our ancient woodland come alive with a gorgeous deep blue hue. Bluebells are an essential part of our natural heritage, and a welcoming sign that spring is well under way.
- Booking not needed
- Free event (admission applies)
Visit Cliveden this spring and discover the top spots for bluebells. Head to the Visitor Information Centre or the Woodlands Car Park and collect your free Bluebells leaflet. This includes a map to show you the walking route which is approximately 1.5 miles from the Information Centre and back.
Visit the woodlands and discover the English bluebells (Hyacinthoides non-scripta). This route is an approximately 600m circular loop from the Woodlands Car Park.
The rangers at Cliveden work hard to protect these delicate flowers from damage caused by footfall. Compacting the ground around the bluebells or their bulbs can impact their growth for up to 5 years. By keeping to the paths, you can help us ensure that these spectacular displays return each and every spring.
