Eating and shopping at Ilam Park, Dovedale and the White Peak

Take a break at Ilam Park and enjoy lunch or a cream tea with stunning views of Thorpe Cloud and the Italian Gardens. There are also options to take away if you fancy a picnic down by the river.

The Manifold tea-room

The Manifold tea-room is ideally situated so that you can take a moment to relax and admire the Italian Garden and sweeping views across Thorpe Cloud and Ilam Church.

You can choose to sit inside or outside with a hot or cold drink, treat yourself to a slice of homemade cake or sample a delicious option from the lunch menu. Be sure to look out for seasonal recipes and daily specials.

Dogs on leads are welcome in the tea-room garden but not inside the tea-room itself – thank you.

Access

When planning your visit please be aware that there are steps leading up into the Manifold tea-room making it unsuitable for wheelchair users.

As an alternative for those that have difficulty accessing the tea-room, there are tables and chairs available in the Stableyard Grab and Go and the team are more than happy to arrange for food from the tea-room to be brought to this area.
