Spring blooms and sweet treats await! Celebrate Mother's Day with a delightful afternoon tea in our picturesque bell tent in the gardens. Limited spaces, book your slice of springtime joy.

A treat this Mothering Sunday – enjoy afternoon tea on the grounds of the picturesque Ilam Park. Inside our intimate bunting-clad bell tent, you can enjoy some homemade delights from our tearoom kitchen. There are 12 slots available at one time within the tent. Whether you want to bring the whole family or you’re treating mum for the day and are happy to sit next to others enjoying the same experience, it’s up to you!
Advance booking essential for this timed event. Please note, at time of booking you will be given a timed slot for your table, of 60 minutes.
If you have any dietary requirements please let us know at time of booking.
This event, like all our events, is open to members of the National Trust and non-members. All money raised goes straight back into looking after the White Peak.

- Meeting point
Meet us in our spring bell tent, in the Tea Room garden. Walk past the stableyard up the slope and turn right into the Tea Room bench area, follow the path up a few metres to discover the bell tent.
- What to bring and wear
Hopefully it will be a beautiful spring day with sunshine and a warm breeze but in case it isn't, wear layers since we don't have internal heating to the bell tent.
- Accessibility
Access to the bell tent is step free. Please contact us if you have any questions or would like to discuss the accessibility of Ilam Park, we have an accessible walking route, a changing place and accessible toilets on site.
