Join us for our first Children’s Snowdrop Story walk at Ickworth estate.

This story walk will take place in Geraldine and Erskine’s wood and will take you on a route through the winter blooms. This walk will combine information about the snowdrops carpeting Ickworth’s woodlands with some special stories along the way!
This session is suitable for children between the ages of 3-7. Younger and older children are welcome, but the content of the walks might not be as engaging for these age ranges. All children must be accompanied by a guardian for the duration of the walk, under 3s are free. These stories have been written by Bethany Davidson.

This session is suitable for children between the ages of 3-7.
- Meeting point
Please meet outside Porter’s Lodge Café where the team will meet you. Please arrive with enough time to begin the session.
- What to bring and wear
Please wear weather appropriate clothing as this tour will take place outside. After periods of rain the route can become muddy, we recommend wearing wellington boots or walking boots for this tour.
- Accessibility
This walk takes place in Geraldine and Erskine’s wood. The walk itself avoids any steep inclines or declines, but the route can get muddy after periods of poor weather. Ground matting will be placed down in areas to improve accessibility, but some manual and powered wheelchairs may need some assistance to cross these areas.

Admission price is not included in the tour ticket price, free to National Trust Members. Non National Trust Members will need to purchase admission when arriving on site.
