Head to the Discovery Room in Tranmer House to see paintings conservator Polly Saltmarsh carrying out light conservation work to the Cor Visser portraits of Edith and Robert Pretty. Both paintings will be surface cleaned and Robert’s portrait is having a new backboard fitted to help preserve it.
