This one act play explores the possible reasons for Shakespeare’s now infamous and much-debated bequest to his wife Anne Hathaway. We meet Shakespeare’s daughters - and Anne herself - as a stranger visits the house in Stratford to formally read the will. Running time: 45mins.
Since being premiered at the Horsham Festival in 2016 the script has been performed in the UK, Ireland, Canada and Gibraltar. It won awards at the Southern Counties Drama Festival in 2019 and also won the Northern Ireland One-Act Play Finals in the same year.
