Plant sales area

You can’t miss the plant sales area, conveniently located next to the reception and shop, and filled with a tempting selection of plants and garden accessories from colourful bedding and summer colour to shrubs, perennials, ferns and much more.

Stock changes with the seasons and there's always something new to take home for your garden. All profits from plant sales help to keep the garden beautiful for everyone to enjoy, thank you.

Secondhand bookshop

The secondhand bookshop is now situated in the Coach House Café building. From children’s classics to cookbooks, works of fiction from the highbrow to the easy-read – there is something for everyone. And it isn't just books. Look out for vinyl for the discerning music fan and a large selection of DVDs for the next family movie night

The bookshop is managed and run entirely by volunteers and all the money raised goes towards the conservation of the beautiful garden and parkland. Your donations all add up to make a big difference, helping to look after this special place.

Sit back and relax

You’re welcome to take a quiet seat in the bookshop, pick-up a book and enjoy a coffee from the café while you browse.

We’re always grateful for donations of good-quality books, so if you have any to spare, please bring them to the Coach House during any open hours.
