Bring the family and explore newly reopened spaces in Chirk Castle's East Wing this summer.
From 20 July, 11am-4pm, enjoy arts and crafts, create and hang your own portrait, design wallpaper, build a soft play fortress, play and use your imagination in the dress up area in this indoor space - perfect whatever the summer weather.
Then get involved and have your say on how you would like this unfurnished space to be used in the future.
Be sure to also experience the knights' training camp in the field of play, the stunning gardens bursting with summer colour, the dungeons and the castle's ornate state rooms during your visit.
Normal admission charges apply, free entry for National Trust members and under 5s.

Activities in the East Wing take place indoors.
- Accessibility
The East Wing activities are on the ground floor which is accessible via a ramp. Our visitor shuttlebus runs from the Ticket Office, up the steep hill to the castle. There is a step-free route of the garden. Please contact us to borrow and reserve a wheelchair or to hire our Tramper. Home Farm has a cobbled area. Registered assistance dogs only in the gardens and castle.
