Come along on 7 August and learn interesting facts about these wonderful wiggy creatures. You will also have the opportunity to try out a bit of Worm charming!
Our ranger team are holding a session at 11am and 2pm and usually last about 30 minutes. This activity is free, but places are limited - see the ticket office on arrival to secure your place. Tickets are given out on a first come first served basis. Normal admission charges apply if you wish to visit the castle and garden, free entry to National Trust members and under 5s.

- What to bring and wear
This event takes place in a meadow, which can be uneven in places and has some long grass area. We recommend wearing long sleeves and trousers and sensible footwear.
- Accessibility
This event takes place in a meadow, which can be uneven in places. All registered assistance dogs are welcome in the gardens. Our visitor shuttlebus runs from the Ticket Office, up the steep hill to the Castle. There is a step-free route of the garden. Please contact us to borrow and reserve a wheelchair or to hire our Tramper. Home Farm has a cobbled area.
