Easter Egg hunt at Chirk Castle
Embark on a family-friendly Easter adventure at Chirk Castle this half term. Follow an interactive trail through the gardens and help a brave hare on its journey to safety.
- Booking not needed
- Admission applies
From Monday, 14 April to Sunday, 27 April, embark on an exciting, family-friendly Easter adventure.
Inspired by a medieval Welsh legend, this interactive trail will take you through the beautiful gardens of Chirk Castle as you help a courageous hare on its journey to safety.
The hare has been dashing through the Welsh valleys, overcoming challenges and meeting friendly animal companions along the way. Complete ten fun activities to guide the hare safely to the Castle Courtyard.
Can you help the hare overcome the obstacles and reach its destination? Follow the trail, complete the tasks and as a reward for your bravery, the hare will thank you with a delicious chocolate egg.
The trail costs £3.50 per participant and runs from 14 April until 27 April, or until stocks last.
Normal admission charges apply. National Trust members and under 5s can enter for free.
Please note: The trail takes place in the formal gardens, where dogs are not permitted. However, dogs on leads are welcome on the estate, in the courtyard, Home Farm and other areas- so your four-legged friends don’t have to miss out entirely on the day’s adventure.
