Entrance to the House

During the main season, between 1 March and 3 November, the house is open every day between 11am and 4pm. Last entry to the house is at 3:30pm.

Upon arrival, head to the Visitor Centre to scan membership cards or buy tickets. There is a 10-minute walk from here to the main house entrance.

Accessibility

On site, we have manual wheelchairs and a volunteer dependent shuttle service that you can use whilst visiting.

There is an accessible circular route around the garden which can be seen on the property map and shows much of the sights.

There is a ramp at the main house entrance and the paths around the house are firm, level gravel. If preferred, please ask a member of staff who can help you.

We have induction loops at our till points as well as portable ones that can be used.

At the Visitor Centre, we have sensory packs for you to borrow on your visit which include ear defenders, fidget toys and other sensory tools.

There are some quiet areas on our grounds, including the Long Walk and Church Bank Wood which our staff can highlight to you upon arrival.

We strive to welcome everyone at Plas Newydd, so please don’t hesitate to contact us before arrival or ask once on site for any assistance.
