February half term at Upton House and Gardens
'One for sorrow, two for joy...' Do you remember the old nursery rhyme about the magpie?

Bring your little ones to make a magpie mask this February half term and introduce them to stories and rhymes associated with these mischievous birds. £2 per child, includes all materials and instructions.
For added fun, pick up a trail sheet from Visitor Reception to discover the story of the magpie and the Greek Muse Calliope.

The basics

Children are welcome, supervised by parent/guardian
- Meeting point
The magpie activity will take place in the plant centre. Follow the signs for the shop and visitor toilets.
- What to bring and wear
Please dress for the weather. All activities take place outdoors. Coats and wellies may be advisable.
