Lower Brockhampton manor house is celebrating its 600th anniversary in 2025 by reviving the medieval tradition of illustrated calendars, showcasing the "Labours of the Month" the seasonal tasks of everyday people.
The primary method of fattening boars in medieval times involved allowing them to forage, particularly acorns found in woodlands, which provided essential nutrients necessary for growth.
