Explorers: Moorland Birds Trail

Bring along your binoculars and see what you can spot.

  • Booking not needed
  • Free event (admission applies)

Bring your binoculars along on this walk for a chance to see the special birds who call the moorland home.

We suggest you download the bird app "Merlin" onto your mobile phone (free to download), this is the perfect tool for us all to immerse ourselves in identifying the sights and sounds of the local birds. There will be a demonstration on on how to use the app at our introduction of the walk on the day.

Meet at Gilberts Car Park (layby where Mount Road meets the A62) (https://w3w.co/trample.beep.handyman )

This walk is 3 miles long and will take approx. 2 hours. Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome to join.
