Learn about the mills and the Luddites and the building of the 4 reservoirs in the Wessenden valley. We join the 2nd turnpike then cross Wessenden Moor, crossing streams and use moorland paths before a steep climb upto the catch and down Wessenden valley with magnificent views on a clear day.
This walk is approx. 7.5 miles and will take around 4 hours.
Dogs on leads are welcome.

Children are welcome on this guided walk as long as they are capable of walking 7.5 miles. This walk is free to join, but a £3 donation given to the walk leader on the day would be welcome.
