Storytime with Create & Craft
Join us for a fun family book reading and discover the joy of plants with our Create & Craft volunteers.
- Booking not needed
- Free event (admission applies)
This picture book series features artwork from bestselling The Gruffalo illustrator Axel Scheffler. With a gentle story and simple facts to explain how plants grow, children will be inspired to get outside this summer.
Why not come along and listen to a story about planting sunflowers or trees then have a go at some crafting with our creative volunteers?
The book readings will take place at 11.15am & 12.45pm in the Reading Room, where you can also browse our selection of children's second-hand books.
We will have colouring in sheets available every day of the holidays so if the weather is wet why not call in and enjoy this cosy space.
