Cotswold Outdoor is our exclusive walking partner. Their generous support helps us to look after outdoor spaces so that everyone can get closer to nature. Find out more about our work together and how National Trust supporters can benefit from a discount at Cotswold Outdoor.

Getting the nation outdoors

Cotswold Outdoor has been helping customers get outdoors for almost 50 years. They offer expert advice and a large range of high-quality clothing, equipment and accessories that are made to last for all sorts of active adventures. We share their love of nature, passion for the great outdoors and commitment to sustainable practices.

Since our partnership began in 2015, Cotswold Outdoor has helped us look after precious walking landscapes and trails, inspiring more people to get outside and enjoy being in nature.

The Cotswold Accessibility Fund, created with the support of Cotswold Outdoor, is also helping to break down social barriers and ensure everyone feels safe and welcome in the outdoors. In 2023, The Mason Mile and the Muslim Hikers community groups received funding for their work and we plan to support more walking groups each year.

Helping us care for precious places

Through our ongoing partnership, we'll continue our efforts to inspire the nation into exploring and discovering more of the UK’s coast and countryside, safely and responsibly.

Cotswold Outdoor gives us funding to help care for walking trails so that more people can access the countryside. We’re working together on our new Paths and Trails Programme, which aims to map, fix and celebrate 15,000km of paths and walking trails by 2030.

By providing clear and robust routes for walkers to use, everyone can feel the uplifting effects of nature while also protecting wildlife habitats. Plus, when you use your National Trust supporter discount code at Cotswold Outdoor, up to 7 per cent of the purchase price goes back into helping us look after the places you love to explore.

We’re proud to be long-standing partners of the National Trust, supporting their Paths and Trails Programme across England and Wales. We believe that people are happier outside so are delighted to partner with an organisation that shares our values and increases access to these amazing spaces. Together, we are passionate advocates for the outdoors, our planet and enjoying it responsibly.
