Jam-packed with character, Hop Kiln Farmhouse is an 18th-century brick house on the Brockhampton Estate, with its former hop kilns and barns still in place. It has many original features, including tiles, beams and fireplaces, and generously-sized rooms so everyone can relax comfortably together.
You’ll have free entry at all National Trust properties during your stay, including Brockhampton's moated manor house portraying life through the eras. The estate spans 1,700 acres, with the largest orchards in the care of the National Trust, expansive woodland, parkland and farmland.
Bromyard, a market town with a high street full of independent cafés, shops and pubs, is a couple of miles away. Further afield, explore the Malvern Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and Stourport-on-Seven, a pretty Georgian canal town.
Hop Kiln Farmhouse sits next to Hop Kiln Cart Barn, a National Trust holiday cottage for four people, Kiln Barn and Hop Kiln Mews, each sleeping two.

Parking and EV charging: There is parking for three cars in the shared parking area. There are three shared use, chargeable electric vehicle charging points. The charging is operated by Pod Point Network.
WiFi: We’re pleased to provide free WiFi access at this accommodation, which is supported by BT. Please note intermittent connection problems can sometimes occur and therefore should not be relied upon.
Please note: There are low ceilings and beams on the top floor of the Hop Kiln Farmhouse. The steps from the dining room to the kitchen are steep and uneven.
The brick flooring outside the front of the property is uneven all times. Please take care near the ramp in the car park.
The garden at the back of the house is slopping and does get muddy in bad weather. Please stay on the grassed area and within the fenced area of the back garden. There are LPG tanks at the back of the property. There is a working farm around the property, with livestock in the fields surrounding the cottage.
There are likely to be service and delivery vehicles entering the yard in front of all the properties at Hop Kiln Farmhouse and Barns to collect or deliver items to the laundry store, bin store and log store.

There are six holiday cottages at the Brockhampton estate. Four old farm buildings are next to each other and can host groups of up to 18 guests: Hop Kiln Farmhouse (sleeps 10), Hop Kiln Cart Barn (sleeps four), Hop Kiln Mews (sleeps two) and Kiln Barn (sleeps two). Elsewhere, Old Mill Cottage (sleeps three) is a secluded cottage to the west of Brockhampton, and Old Linceter (sleeps five) is a traditional stone cottage, further to the north.
