A pretty pink exterior, elegant décor, lots of historic character and miles of parkland walks on your doorstep; Blickling Dairy House most definitely ticks all the boxes for a Norfolk country stay. The 17th-century cottage sits in the heart of the Blickling Estate with the striking main house and its formal gardens nearby. It was once the dairy of the estate and among its elegant décor, intriguing original features of its past can still be seen, such as the milking parlour in the main bedroom.
Throughout your stay you’ll have immediate access to miles of walking and cycling trails through the parkland and around the impressive Jacobean Blickling Hall. There’s a traditional country pub on the estate too, The Buckinghamshire Arms, where you can warm by the log-burner and enjoy locally sourced food.
Beyond the estate walls, the sandy beaches and cliff top paths of the Norfolk coast are within 20 minute drive. Blakeney Point Nature Reserve is 20 miles away.
The Georgian market town of Aylsham can be reached within a 30 minute walk or five minute drive.

Access: The entrance to the cottage is through the rear of the building immediately into the kitchen.
The cottage is laid out on several levels, consequently there are various steps throughout the building.
The access driveway is used by the general public on foot and is also the route to disabled parking and coach drop off.
Heating: Air source central heating is provided. This system has been installed as part of our renewable energy programme.
Parking: There is parking for four cars within the garden.
*WiFi: This is now available, but please note that intermittent connection problems can sometimes occur and should not be relied upon. We are pleased to provide free WiFi at this cottage which is supported by BT.
Garden: An enclosed garden to the rear.
Storage: There is an outside shed (lockable) available to use as a bicycle store.
Offers: Guests will benefit from a late Sunday checkout of 4pm at this cottage.
Please note: In July/August there may be open air concerts held on Blickling park beside the lake, this is likely to result in heavy traffic between 4.00 pm to 11pm. (Concert dates will be promoted on the Blickling Hall website.) August Bank Holiday Monday Aylsham agricultural show is also held on the park and the local area will be busy all day/evening and possibly over the weekend before for preparation.
