As a guest of the lodge you're invited to explore Hardwick's extensive gardens when the day visitors have gone home. For adventurous days out, head to the Peak District, only a 30-minute drive away. If you're looking for unique cottages in Derbyshire, this pentagonal house ticks all the boxes. Built in 1806, the Grade II listed gate house has a warm and welcoming interior, with antique wood furnishings and a cosy, open fire. The cottage sits at the entrance to Calke Abbey Estate, with its 600 acres of parkland just on your doorstep. Sleeps 3.

You can stay in one of two cottages in the heart of the Hardwick estate in a restored stable yard building. The two individual cottages sleep a total of 18 guests, perfect for friends and family holidaying together. The two large holiday homes have a private walled garden.
