Grass and gravel car park. Gravel path to steep tarmac lane down to the beach (300 metres). Toilets at car park.
Ramped access/slopes
Steep hill from car park down to Porthor beach.
By road
from Caernarfon follow the A487 then B4417 through Nefyn and Tudweiliog. At T-junction at Pen y Groeslon turn right and in ½ a mile follow signposted minor road on the right. If travelling from Pwllheli follow A499 to Llanbedrog then B4413 to Pen y Groeslon before following signposted minor road to right.
By bus
reach Aberdaron via services from Pwllheli to Aberdaron and Uwchmynydd
