Accessible and disabled parking available. There are level paths in garden suitable for wheelchairs. All-terrain tramper available to book, please email saltram@nationaltrust.org.uk to book. Audio induction loops are in place in the cafe and the Welcome centre. There are adapted toilet/baby changing at the Stables and a disabled toilet in the Park cafe.

3½ miles east of Plymouth city centre. Travelling south (from Exeter): exit from A38 is signed Plymouth City Centre/Plympton/Kingsbridge. At roundabout take third exit for Plympton and follow the brown signs for Saltram. Travelling north (from Liskeard): leave A38 at Plympton exit. From roundabout take first exit to Plympton and follow the brown signs for Saltram. What 3 words for Saltram's entrance: ///steep.runner.boring
Parking: One way car system in place in car park, please follow exits signs when leaving the car park. Majority of parking on gravel spaces. Overflow parking on grass or matting, this may be closed during bad weather conditions. Tarmac disabled spaces available. 50 yards.

Christmas at Saltram 2024

To guarantee entry, house visits must be booked in advance. There will also be a fun-filled children’s trail through the garden to enjoy. The festivities run from Friday, 22nd November, to Wednesday, 1st January.

Explore Saltram with HistoryScapes

HistoryScapes is a GPS-based app that takes you on a journey back in time, immersing you in the sights and sounds of Saltram in the late 18th century. The pilot project is led by the National Trust’s Historic Environment and Visitor Experience teams and supported at Saltram by the National Lottery Heritage Fund. From September 1 to April 30, you can explore Saltram’s parkland and gardens through this unique mobile storytelling experience.
