World Book Day
Celebrate the joy of reading with World Book Day at Dunstable Downs!
- Booking not needed
- Free event (admission applies)
Magic, mystery, myths… through the power of books, a world of wonder is yours to discover.
Here’s what we have lined up for you at Dunstable Downs:
• 7–15-year-olds can enter our 500 word young writers competition! Running 8 February – 6 March, details can be found on our homepage.
• Craft your own bookmark. Available to collect at the Visitor Centre 1 - 6 March.
• Visit our second-hand book shop where pre-loved children’s books are waiting to be rediscovered for just £2 each!
• Pre-school story time sessions (6 March only, drop in between 10.30am and 12.30pm)
• Don’t forget to dress up on the day. You may spot some of your favourite literary characters amongst our staff too…
If you'd like to donate children's books ahead of World Book Day week, please drop them by our Visitor Centre! We’d be honoured to help them find a new home.
