During the medieval era, Dunstable was one of England’s four main centres for knights' tournaments. These were mock battles featuring hundreds of armoured horsemen. These contests spanned many acres, likely on the lower slopes of the Downs.

This free hour long talk will take place inside the Gateway Centre on Dunstable Downs.
