Hundreds of armoured knights once clashed in spectacular mock battles right here in Dunstable, one of medieval England’s main tournament centres. These action-packed events stretched across the Downs, drawing crowds and shaping local history.
This engaging session features storytelling and illustrations by Robin Davies, giving younger audiences a glimpse into the world of medieval knights.
If you feel inspired, you can take part in your own Knights' Tournament at the Downs throughout the Easter holidays!
