Acorn Bank Orchard looks after a significant reference collection of heritage apple varieties, numbering over 175. So, on Saturday 12 October, join apple experts from across the North West, who will help identify your mystery apples!

To get the most out of your visit, bring at least 3 typical apples and a couple of leaves from each tree. Be ready to tell the experts a little about the tree - where does it grow, when is it ripe and ready to eat, does the fruit keep well? On arrival please ask to book a time slot with the experts.
