Help Out Day: Bracken Bashing Day at Glencoyne
Help our rangers to stop bracken from smothering tree saplings.

You'll be bashing the bracken to stop it smothering species rich grassland and removing it from tree cages to create space for tree saplings to grow.
Working with our rangers from the Ullswater team. Meet at National Trust Glencoyne car park and then walk to where you'll be working.

- What to bring and wear
Wear sturdy boots or wellies. We recommend wearing long sleeves and long trousers. Jacket in case it rains, sun protection, hat and glasses. Bring a pack lunch, drinks and snacks.
