Heritage Open Days - Guided Heritage Walk
We are delighted to be hosting these free guided walks as part of Heritage Open Days week - England’s largest festival of history and culture.

Join a member of our team on a free guided walk. This will take you on a journey to learn the history Langdale and the conservation work the National Trust have been undertaking.
Booking is not essential but we recommend you book so we have an idea of numbers.

The basics

Children must be accompanied by an adult.
- Meeting point
The meeting point is outside the welcome pod in the corner of the Stickle Ghyll National Trust car park.

Appropriate outdoor shoes and suitable clothing for the weather

The walk will be along established paths on the valley bottom. There are slopes and areas of undulating terrain. The exact route of the walk may be guided by the weather forecast.
