Gorgeous Georgians Trail
Monday 17 February 2025 – Sunday 31 August 2025, 10am – 4pm
Join us for a Horrible Histories adventure at Osterley Park and House with plenty of splats, hats, and lots of rats! Uncover the fascinating and gruesome history of Georgians from the 18th century with our new original trail inspired by the 'Gorgeous Georgians' children's book written by Terry Deary. As you wander across the gardens and house, transform into a royal Georgian Queen or King in the Temple of Pan as you try on enormous wigs and hats. Spin the ‘Wheel of Misfortune’ on the Long Walk to see what cheerless childhood job you would have done in the Georgian era. On the way, keep your eyes peeled for some greedy Pirates and dangerous Highwayman hiding within the bushes.
Come out and play at Osterley. Whether you’re looking to dip your toe into the water and try kayaking, or picking up the paddle for a game of table tennis, we’ve got plenty of activities to keep the whole family entertained and help you create great memories together. What adventures will you have next?
