Parking: Car park is owned by Northumberland National Park. Charges are: First 15 minutes - free. Up to three hours - £4.00. Additional time – £2.00 per hour thereafter to a maximum of £10. No overnight parking.

Trees of Hope

Trees of Hope applications are now closed. Thank you to everyone who submitted an application. Successful applicants will be announced during National Tree Week – 23 Nov to 1 December 2024. We've launched the Trees of Hope initiative, where we'll gift 49 saplings – one to represent each foot of the height of the Sycamore Gap tree at the time of felling last year – to communities around the country.

Artist Shona Branigan has created a fingerprint of the Sycamore Gap tree. The prints - five in total - form the exhibition 'Heartwood ' and honour the felled tree and the feelings and memories of those who connected with it.
