Hallowe'en Boat Trips with Strangford Lough Activity Centre

Cruise around Strangford lough learning the history of the area with Strangford Lough Activity Centre.

  • Booking essential

Enjoy a journey through the lough over 1.5 hours seeing all the highlights. Enjoy a spin through the narrows to the 'Rowten Wheel' whirlpool, with a bit of luck, you might see the dolphins. Hear the history of the local towns of Strangford & Portaferry and see some of the filming locations from Game of Thrones & Bloodlands.

From invaders to Vikings, smugglers to Kings, this lough has seen just about everything. Steeped in history, even locals will get an eye-opener at some of what has happened over the centuries on Strangford, or Lough Cuan, as it was once better known. We’ll help you understand the necklace of stone forts that surround the lough, explain some of the flora and fauna, the sea life and the wildlife.
