Café
SandiDunes café kiosk is located at the northern tip of the reserve, serving a range of take-away hot and cold food and drink. Limited outdoor seating available. Open daily from 10am to 4pm until Sun 27 Oct. Starting Mon 28 Oct, open daily from 10am to 3pm.
Car park
The car park is adjacent to former clubhouse. Please note there is a height barrier in place (1.95 metres). Park with PayByPhone, download the app or call 0330 060 4037, using location code: 806355. National Trust members park for free - just scan your card at SandiDunes café. Parking charges apply 8am-6pm, seven days a week. No overnight parking.
Toilet
Available in the main car park.
Visitors to Sandilands should expect some inclines and uneven terrain, which may be muddy in places after wet weather. Improving accessibility to the site is a primary objective of the Sandilands project.

Steps/uneven terrain
Sandilands has some steps, steep slopes, and uneven terrain, which may be muddy in places following wet weather. Improving accessibility to the nature reserve is a key goal of the ongoing project.
Designated parking
There are two designated accessible parking spaces at the top of the road adjacent to the main car park entrance leading to the seafront, as well as designated accessible parking in the main car park. Vehicles displaying a blue badge are exempt from charges.
By road
Located just off the A52, coast road, signposted Sandilands.

National Trust members park for free - just scan your card at SandiDunes café. Parking fee: Free up to 2 hours (please use the PayByPhone app to obtain your free ticket) or £2 all day. By train
The closest railway station to Sandilands is Skegness station (11 miles away).
By bus
Regular buses, passing close to National Trust Sandilands, run from Skegness and Mablethorpe, Monday to Saturday (excluding Bank Holidays). The bus stop for Stagecoach no.59 is located on Sea Lane, just under one mile walk from the northern tip of the nature reserve.

Coastal landscape
National Trust Sandilands will become a new nature reserve where we will protect wildlife and create an evergreen nature experience for you to enjoy. Our focus is on supporting migrating birds like black-tailed godwit, spotted redshank, and spoonbill, as well as breeding birds such as snipe, lapwing, and oystercatcher. It's already a special place to take a walk and is accessible 365 days a year.
Lincolnshire Coastal Country Park
Working in partnership with Lincolnshire County Council, this stretch of coastline running from Sandilands down to Chapel St Leonards includes beaches, nature reserves, walking routes and more. Enjoy sandy beaches and beautiful big skies, and look for coastal birds including avocet, redshank and marsh harrier.

About Sandilands
The National Trust is embarking on an exciting project to transform the former golf course at Sandilands into a year-round nature experience for everyone.
Working in partnership with the Lincolnshire Coastal Country Park, we plan to create new habitats for a variety of wildlife, especially migrating birds like black-tailed godwit, spotted redshank and spoonbills, along with breeding birds such as snipe, lapwings and oystercatchers.
Our vision for this new reserve is to provide a space where everyone can enjoy the benefits of being in nature. We’re delighted to have this opportunity as the Lincolnshire coast is one of the most important stretches of the English coastline for wildlife as a stop-over on the ‘fly-way’ migration route. We plan to create an amazing place for people to immerse themselves in nature and truly connect with the wonders the Lincolnshire coast has to offer.
