Visit Cliveden this spring and discover a range of naturalised daffodils planted in and around the grassy areas of the estate. The best spots to see them are either side of Grand Avenue, on Stable Bank, outside the Fountain entrance to the Long Garden and along the shrub border in the Long Garden.
On the Flint House side of the Parterre you can spot many daffodils in the large areas of grass and between the two entrances into the Rose Garden. Heading into the Rose Garden, visitors can discover daffodils in the shrub border running outside of the yew hedge surrounding the Rose Garden.
Finally, if you choose to head up the path to Ilex Grove, daffodils can be spotted here and towards the grassy lawn in front of Blenheim pavilion.
In 2024, the gardeners planted around 11,000 of the Narcissi 'Carlton' daffodils, which were on display in the Long Garden, these may make another appearance this spring. One final popular display is the pots outside the Conservatory café which include various narcissi daffodils and normally is on display from March. Daffodils generally appear from the middle of February through to April.
