Introduction to Botanical Drawing
Learn step by step approaches to enable your creativity to flourish in this beginners one day botanical drawing workshop.

Join local tutor Amanda Duke to learn a variety of techniques and build self-confidence in botanical drawing.
The day will begin with introductory warm up activities before moving onto sketching and analysing your plant specimen in detail.
You will practice and learn traditional techniques with a selection of drawing tools including graphite, sketching pencils, coloured paper and white cartridge paper.
By the end of the day you will have been shown how to focus on structure, form and overall shape of your plant specimen, along with ways of collecting drawings in sketchbooks or for framing.
This beginners botanical drawing workshop is on Tuesday 22 April 10.30am-4.30pm. £65pp. All materials will be provided. Tea and coffee provided. Please bring your own packed lunch.
