Spring Festival: Garden Talks
As a part of our Spring Festival gardening enthusiasts will be treated to a series of talks from Tuesday 22 - Sunday 27 April with specialist speakers including Adam Frost.

Take a seat in our Garden Theatre marquee on The North Lawn to hear a variety of speakers.
Tues 22 April - 11.30: Join Petworth's Head Gardener Martyn Burkinshaw for 'Bringing History Into Bloom'. 12.30 & 3.30: Plant Health & Sustainability expert Rebecca Bevan will discuss all things 'Nature Friendly Gardening'.
Wednesday 23 April - 11.30 & 2.30: Based on her book Garden Heaven, Vanessa Berridge will talk about 'How to be an active garden visitor'. 12.30 & 3.30: Illustrated talk 'Making the most of your daffodils' with Daffodil Society member, qualified daffodil judge, keen exhibitor and grower Richard Hilson.
Thurs 24 April - 11.30: Join Petworth's Head Gardener Martyn Burkinshaw for 'Bringing History Into Bloom'. 12.30 & 3.30: Gardeners World's Adam Frost will be talking about 'Designing for the Season: Bringing Your Garden to Life'.
Fri 25 April - 11.30 & 2.30: An exciting gardening journey with James Miller 'A Year on the Woolbeeding Silk Route'. 12.30 & 3.30: Natan Cointet on the joys of being Head Gardener at Polesden Lacey.
Sat 26 April - 11.30 & 2.30: Professor of Biology at University of Sussex, Dave Goulson on 'Saving Our Insects'. 12.30 & 3.30: Sissinghurst gardener Richard Gravett discusses 'Mediterranean Gardening'.
Sun 27 April - 11.30 & 2.30: Head Gardner at Knepp, Charlie Harpur will talk about 'Gardening for Wellbeing'. 12.30pm & 3.30pm: Director of History People UK Chris Hare on 'A Year in the Life of the South Downs'.

The talks will take place undercover in a marquee located on The North Lawn area of the Gardens.
- Accessibility
There is a 15 minute walk from the car park to the Garden Theatre on gravel/uneven paths. The mobility buggy will be running from the car park to the Garden Theatre, and House on request.
