Explore our beautiful gardens and uncover their fascinating past—from French-inspired designs of 1653 to vibrant post-WWII revivals, each corner tells a story.

Our knowledgeable and friendly volunteers will guide the garden tours at 2pm every Wednesday throughout the summer. Standard admission rates apply to take part in the tour. Places are limited, so be sure to visit the ticket office upon arrival to secure your spot. Tickets are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

Head to the ticket office to secure your place on the day. Then meet our volunteer guide at the garden gates at 2pm.

Appropriate footwear is recommended.
- Accessibility
Our visitor shuttlebus runs from the Ticket Office, up the steep hill to the Castle. There is a step-free route of the garden. Please contact us to borrow and reserve a wheelchair or to hire our Tramper.
