- Booking not needed
- Free event (admission applies)
The Oak Yard is back for a full summer of family fun! Splash about in water play, make house in 'Sied Dwt' and discover the new spaces opening in the Old Laundry - we can't reveal much yet - but it'll be soft and squishy and a delight for all!
Relax by the baby oak that stands proudly at the centre of this space, enjoy ice creams or grab a coffee from the takeaway café.
Newton House is the place for play - we like to get creative - from board games to the mini figure trail and there's always something special in the holidays - check out the basement to see what will be on offer this summer.
Alongside this event, a visit to Dinefwr includes the magnificent Newton House and its garden, sat within a historic nature-rich parkland, adjacent to the ancient Deer Park and Dinefwr Castle. Within the house there are three floors to explore, including a series of exhibitions, the café and second-hand bookshop. There’s always children’s activities in the house, the Oak Yard open for play in the main season and plenty of places to explore outdoors.
