Spring meditations at Dyffryn Gardens

On Saturday 10 May, in the peaceful and magical glade which rests in the heart of the Dyffryn Arboretum, be guided through a moment of reflection and hope by meditation practitioner, Ruth Huggins

  • Booking advisable
  • Admission applies

Bring a picnic blanket, camping chair, or anything else you need to get comfy during a meditation and let Ruth guide you through a meditation dedicated to spring. Explore the concepts and themes of spring; themes such as a renewal of hope and joy, of new life and fresh starts after the cold and dark hibernation period of winter.

There will be five sessions across the day and numbers are limited to 10 people per session to make sure that everyone has sufficient peace and space to fully immerse themselves in the meditation.

You'll have to carry your blanket/chair to the glade which isn't a long walk but worth bearing in mind. And while we have many accessible routes round the garden, the route to the glade is not appropriate for mobility aids such as wheelchairs of mobility scooters.

This is a free event but normal admission also applies (admission is free to National Trust members), booking is advisable to make sure you definitely have a place in one of the sessions. If the weather is too bad for an outdoor session we’ll move the meditation into the Glass House Vinery which is warm and peaceful and will sound especially lovely in the rain!
