Pond dipping at Brockhampton
Join the rangers for an exploration of Grove Pool, where a whole world of wildlife lives beneath the pond’s surface.
- Booking not needed
- Free event (admission applies)
From 11am to 3pm, the ranger team will be up at Grove Pool helping you discover all the weird and wonderful creatures living in and around the pool.
Grove Pool is located within the woodland at Brockhampton. There are some steps and steep/uneven paths up to the pool which are not recommended for pushchairs, so please take this into consideration before booking. The walk to grove pool can take around 30 minutes depending on the abilities of your group.
There are compost toilets and seating located at the pool, and we recommend bringing your wellies as the paths can get muddy after bad weather. There are no food and beverage facilities in the woodland, so we suggest packing a picnic or grabbing something to eat from The Granary before joining.
Booking is not required. This activity is free, but all donations are welcome (suggested donation of £2 per child).
